What data is required for the analysis?
For a free overview, the load profile from the transfer point is sufficient. You can easily obtain this 15-minute-resolution consumption history from your energy supplier. This data is often provided as a CSV file, which can be opened in Excel.
For a more comprehensive analysis, we require further information about your site’s energy system. It is advisable to involve technical contacts or to contact us for assistance in obtaining this data.
This data includes technical information on generators and consumers and their load profiles. Ideally, you should also provide us with an R+I flow diagram so that we can gain a clear overview of the technical interrelationships at your site. The most important systems are usually PV systems, CHP and combined cycle power plants, heat pumps and heating elements, refrigeration systems and, increasingly, charging points for all types of electric vehicles (including warehouse equipment). Also important for assessing future feasibility are the control systems used (PLCs, SCADA) and any building management systems (BMS) that may be in place.
In order to determine the financial implications more accurately, information on your energy supply is required. In addition to the maximum capacity of your grid connection, the terms and conditions of your grid operator and your energy supplier are important in this regard. These often include special arrangements such as peak load time slots or atypical grid usage.
The following applies to all these points: do not wait until you have everything perfectly in place. We can help you compile this information or make assumptions. Naturally, we will ensure transparency regarding any limiting factors in our analysis.
Is data from the energy supplier sufficient?
Yes, but only for an initial quick overview.
If we want to look into this in more detail and find out exactly where and how we can use your systems and processes to save on electricity costs, we will need technical information on the main consumers at your site and the load profiles for these systems. No, we are able to analyse all types of systems and assess their potential for reducing electricity costs.

Yes, this is actually a growing area in our analyses. Battery storage systems are becoming increasingly affordable, and their rapid response time makes them an ideal complement to the energy flexibility of industrial plants and processes. That is why, when considering energy systems for industrial sites, we also look at the option of expanding them to include precisely this setup.
What is the difference between a free check and an in-depth analysis?
We are unable to offer the in-depth analysis free of charge, as it is much more labour-intensive and therefore more accurate. The free check can only provide you and us with an initial assessment, so that we can decide together how viable the various options available to you are.
